Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, use our contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”. We will verify your request and respond within the period the applicable law allows. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly excessive.
Server logs are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted or anonymised. Aggregated analytics, which cannot identify you, are kept indefinitely. Correspondence you send us is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up, normally no more than 24 months. Our advertising partners apply their own retention periods.
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, tell us through our contact form and we will delete it.
